Our Process

Our team is dedicated to providing thorough, effective mold remediation services for homes and businesses. Here’s a deep dive into our process:

01

Inspection

Our first step is to inspect the property thoroughly using the highest quality moisture detectors and our trained eyes; we hunt down mold, even in hard-to-spot places.

02

Containment

Once we have identified the affected area, we seal it off. Think of it like quarantine for your house – we use barriers and create negative air pressure to keep mold spores from spreading.

03

Air Filtration

Clean air is vital to a healthy space. We deploy specialized air scrubbers and HEPA filtration systems to capture airborne mold spores, improving air quality during our work and helping prevent recontamination.

04

Mold Removal

With containment in place, we tackle the mold head-on. Our technicians use a combination of industry-approved cleaning solutions and mechanical removal techniques.

05

Cleaning and Disinfection

After visible mold is gone, our team thoroughly cleans the entire affected area, using specialized disinfectants to neutralize any lingering spores or mycotoxins. We pay attention to nooks, crannies, and porous surfaces that might harbor hidden mold particles.

06

Drying and Dehumidification

Mold needs moisture to thrive, so we address the root cause. Our industrial-grade dehumidifiers and strategic air movement systems thoroughly dry out affected areas. We will also help identify and recommend fixes for underlying moisture issues, whether a leaky pipe, poor ventilation, or other factors.

07

Restoration and Repair

Where mold removal has required the disruption of building materials, we don’t leave you with a stripped-down space. Our skilled team can handle necessary repairs, from replacing drywall to refinishing surfaces, ensuring your property is returned to its pre-mold condition.

08

Final Inspection

Before we consider the job complete, we conduct a rigorous final inspection. This often includes air quality testing and surface sampling to ensure mold levels have been reduced to safe, normal levels. Once satisfied, we can confidently declare your space mold-free.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tom, Jose, and Alex's crew were awesome in getting our house rebuilt back together. They were helpful to work with us through insurance, accommodating our needs as things changed, and over-communicated, which was awesome to see. Would highly recommend, especially for first-time renovations or home repairs. They made the process easy and kept us up to date on all the changes and worked well with our insurance company.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired Command Construction to handle repairs after water damage in my home caused by a wax ring failure, and I’m so glad I did.

In the bathroom, they replaced the drywall, painted the walls, and removed the old vanity, countertop, and travertine tile floor. They then installed a new travertine floor, a beautiful vanity, a marble countertop, and a new vessel sink (while reusing my existing faucet). The result is a clean, updated space that feels both functional and elegant.

In the rest of the first floor, they removed the old travertine tile and replaced it with engineered hardwood flooring in a warmer tone—both in appearance and in how it feels underfoot. The transition between the bathroom tile and the hardwood is smooth and well done.

Command Construction went above and beyond throughout the process. They hired a moving company to carefully move my furniture out before construction and back in afterward, which made things much easier for me. They also brought in a cleaner at the end of the project, who did a great job making the space feel move-in ready.

Everything turned out beautifully. Cameron, Tom, and Jose were a pleasure to work with—professional, communicative, and reliable. They walked me through the entire process, handled communication with my home insurance, and were always responsive to questions or concerns.

I highly recommend Command Construction for residential flooring and remodeling projects. If I have any future renovation needs, they’ll be the first ones I call.
